CHINESE 211 - Second Level Modern Chinese I

Description
Designed to help students achieve greater proficiency in the oral and written use of the Chinese language through reading, listening, speaking and writing. Emphasis on developing the natural flow of the language, expanding vocabulary and producing written Chinese of paragraph length. Meets five hours a week plus one laboratory session. Prerequisite: Grade of B- or better in Chinese 102D or placement by examination. Limit 14 students per section.
