LAS 3410 - Contemporary Dominican Literature

Description
A selective study of the major figures and literary trends of contemporary Dominican literature. This course describes the different narrative discourse and their response to the cultural, social and political changes as well as the crisis of modernity. The cultural production is analyzed in terms of the dismantling of traditional values, the structure languages rupture and the voices of social diversity. Prerequisite: SPAN 2210 AND SPAN 2500
