BUAD 5951 - Sprint

Description
Two one-week (40 hour, 1 credit hour) Sprint sessions, to be held once during the fall semester and once during the spring semester, allow William & Mary students to devote a concentrated block of time to new, emerging or important business topics, problems and opportunities. The Sprints, led by faculty, are designed to allow for corporate or industry interaction. The Sprint weeks increase the amount of experiential learning in the program; increase interaction with businesses and professionals; expose students to real-world, real-time issues; provide an opportunity for teamwork and competition; and place the school in a unique and differentiated position in terms of bringing business into the business school. Just as what is topical and current in business issues is evolutionary, the sprint content is expected to change from time to time to reflect the current general and specific interests of our students.
