BIO 102 - General Biology II

Description
Prerequisite: BIO 101. Focuses on diversity of life, anatomy and physiology of organisms, and ecosystem organization and processes in an evolutionary context. Explores the core concepts of evolution; structure and function; information flow, storage and exchange; pathways and transformations of energy and matter; and systems biology. Emphasizes process of science, interdisciplinary approach, and relevance of biology to society. Lecture 3 hours. Recitation and laboratory 3 hours. Total 6 hrs. per week. Class Notes: Enrolling in this lab automatically registers the student in BIO 102-D20 lecture. Enrollment Requirements: BIO 102 Requirement: Satisfactory completion of BIO 101 or equivalent.

She actually wants you to pass. Her tests are straight forward and hard, but not overly hard just to trip you up. She offers extra credit both in lab and lecture. She understands her class is a pre-req for most students so doesn't try to make it like grad school. She keeps things as simplified as she can. Easy to talk to in or out of class.
