HIST 9025 - Tutorial in the History of Cartography

Description
This course is a global survey of maps and map making from pre-history to the present. It introduces students to the varied scholarly approaches to understanding the knowledge and practice behind representations of geographic space as well as the interpretation of maps, plans, and charts as objects of analysis.
