I'm in the engineering school, and took this class as a much-needed respite from STEM. What an amazing choice! Dr Petrovic's lectures on culture, religion, medicine, history of the Greek world really expanded my thought processes about human themes throughout history, as well as my understanding about the finer points of our heritage as democracy.

Never expected to like this material and this was my fav class. Dillery is the most passionate guy so he gave great lectures- important material is crystal clear. Super reading heavy, but readings are needed for tests not lectures- you can catch up later. If you're not a history buff, CHOOSE to be engaged in this class and you may really enjoy it
