PSYC 320 - Health Psychology

Description
Study of the impact of biological, physiological, social, and cultural factors on health and illness. Topics include physiological systems of the body, mind-body interactions, stress and coping, lifestyle and health, psychoneuroimmunology, pain, cross-cultural perspectives on health and illness, and management of chronic and terminal illness. Meets the Adjustment and Well-being requirement for the Psychology major. Enrollment Requirements: Prerequisite for taking this course is having completed PSYC 101.
