EC 252 - Foundations Of Early Childhood

Study and evaluation of early childhood models, theory, and practice. Students study major developmental systems, including motor, socio-emotional, and cognitive-linguistic within a cultural framework. Students review major constructs in contemporary child development, such as attachment, personality and temperament, as well as develop skills in observation and assessment. Includes up to 15 hours of field experience in programs serving young children. Class Notes: This class is open to both DL and on campus students. On campus students can enroll as of 12/06/17 (no petition required). Tuition is not part of the plateau; online fees apply. In addition this class has an online technology administration fee of $60.
