Horn is extremely knowledgable on philosophy. That being said, he expects a lot from the few grades you are given (2 exams, 1 essay). Attend lecture, read the book, study hard, revise a lot in order to pass. However, he makes learning extremely fun and interesting despite being a tough grader.

NOTE: I took PHIL 316 - philosophy of death This class was INCREDIBLE. Dr. Horn is such a kind and funny teacher and the class itself is super interesting. There wasn't a dull moment in this class!
