Survey of European art from Neo-Classical period through early 19th century. Emphasis on relationships between contemporary society and politics, artistic philosophies, and artistic style. Artists and styles include Neo-Classicism, David, Ingres, Romanticism, Goya, Gericault, Delacroix, Constable, Turner, etc. Enrollment Requirements: Prerequisite(s): ART 283Â.
