COMM 413 - Communication and Nonprofit Organizations

Description
This course is designed to provide you with an overview of issues and topics in nonprofit organizational communication. Topics include internal communication issues such as socialization, stress and burnout, and volunteer and board management as well as external communication issues including public relations, fundraising, and advocacy. Prerequisites: Communication 104 and 280; and Prerequisite or Corequisite: Communication 368 or consent of instructor. Class Notes: Students MUST attend class the first day or will automatically be dropped from the class. Great professor and always there if you need her! Nonprofit is a wonderful class and Jen made it that much better. She gave us opportunities to volunteer and participate in new things. Highly recommend this class and this teacher!
