Lecture/Discussion Hours: 3 Lab/Studio Hours: 0 Combines German history survey 1889-1989, including work on contemporary images and documents, with close reading of literary/cultural texts and close attention to students' professional development in reading, writing, listening, speaking, translating. Course language is German. Enrollment Requirements: One German course at the 300-level, or permission of the instructor.
