Laurence Coogan

Pretty good professor overall. Sometimes lacked clarity on topics that were being covered. Expects you to know and understand the material that had been gone over in class, and basic concepts of mineralogy and earth science. Does not post notes online. Tests are pretty easy, but material can be tricky if you don't know it really well.

Dr. Coogan communicates material well to students. His marking is reasonable and fair but at times hard. He will guide your approach to assignment problems and effectively answer questions if you talk to him or ask for help. It is evident that Dr. Coogan is passionate about Earth Science and wants his students to learn effectively. Would recommend.
