PRNT 2305 - Printmaking I

Description
Printmaking I (0-6) (Common Course Number ARTS 2333) An introductory course focusing on the basics of relief, intaglio and stone lithographic printmaking techniques, the terminology, and a brief history of these processes. Students will be encouraged to develop personal original imagery to execute in these media. Course will include a brief demonstration of screen techniques. A minimum of six hours per week. Prerequisites: ARTF 1301, ARTF 1302, and ARTF 1304. ARTF 1304 may be taken concurrently with PRNT 2305. Course fee required.
