Thomas Manning

Professor Manning was a great calc teacher. He explained concepts in different ways, and was always willing to go back fill any gaps in math. There were practice exams before each exam that nicely showed what information should be studied. He graded fairly but kindly. Each test had some sort of take home section where you'd create your own problem.

Prof Manning is an outstanding professor, my favorite professor I've had at the U. He cares for his students and focuses his class on each student's success. He moves quickly through material, so don't miss class. Although, attendance is not mandatory. Test reviews are a great reflection of actual tests (all tests have extra credit opportunities).
