COMM 6115 - Health Communication

Description
This course examines various health communication issues from the personal, intimate interactions between patients and caregivers in the examination and hospital room; to organizational healthcare policies and community relations that affect the way healthcare is provided and the way people feel about the providers; to mediated coverage, campaigns and programming that seek to educate people about health. Class Notes: COMM graduate students must have advisor permission to enroll in nonseminar 6000-level courses (courses numbered below 6800).
