Description
Introduction to topics and issues at the crossroads of public health and aging, including demography, epidemiology, stereotypes, and health promotion and wellness. Class Notes: Attendance is required the first week of class, all sessions; absent students may be dropped from the roster to allow space for wait-listed students. Any anticipated conflicts should be discussed with the instructor in advance. Enrollment Requirements: Prerequisite(s): General Education courses (CO1-CO3) completed; at least 3 courses from CO4-CO8 completed; Senior standing; CHS 101; CHS 337 OR GERO 431 OR GERO 440.
