CHS 440 - Injury and Violence Prevention

Description
Examines injuries/violence as public health issues. Causes/consequences are examined in areas such as car accidents, home/work safety, area crime, family violence, and sports injuries. Class Notes: Attendance is required the first week of class, all sessions; absent students may be dropped from the roster to allow space for wait-listed students. Any anticipated conflicts should be discussed with the instructor in advance. Enrollment Requirements: Prerequisite(s): General Education courses (CO1-CO8) completed; Junior or Senior standing. Recommended Preparation: CHS 101; CHS 211.
