CHS 340 - Policy Issues in Health and Society

Description
Survey of health/social policy making, including current and future trends. Emphasis on legislation related to disease prevention, health promotion, and health care. Class Notes: Attendance is required the first week of class, all sessions; absent students may be dropped from the roster to allow space for wait-listed students. Any anticipated conflicts should be discussed with the instructor in advance. Enrollment Requirements: Prerequisite(s): CHS 101; CHS 102; CHS 211 for Public Health specialization.
