David Fott

Professor Fott goes above and beyond so his students understand his course. He is open to emails to count as participation as well as visiting office hours. I received two A- on essays as well as a B on the midterm. If you read you will enjoy his class. He is clear, polite, and does not make students feel stupid, like some other teachers do.

Be prepared for your paper to be mechanically ripped apart. Grades papers way more harshly than any English professor I ever had.Need to take a lot of notes because paper topics could be on ANYTHING, even things that were vaguely talked about. One of the hardest classes I ever had to take, put my all in and still wasn't enough for Fott.
