Grading in this course is incredibly inconsistent. The TA is lazy and won't spend more than a few minutes grading an assignment which often leads to low grades. Grading is done in a way where either you get near 100 on an assignment or get a 50 or 60% basically cementing your grade in a b or c. Overall never take this course.

Seems to expect a group project report to be on the same level of quality as a grad paper. Downgraded groups for using simple examples for the class demonstration, despite having no requirement for the presentation to be on a complicated example. The very first assignment was to make a genetic algorithm. Most methods studied have no real world use
