Only graded on art projects, quizzes, attendance, and attending guest lectures aren't mandatory but will boost grade if you need it. He's nice enough, but kind of pompous on his artistic opinion and VERY BORING lecturer. I had him for an FYS that was 3 HOURS LONG!! so don't take if you have other classes you have to take, cuz 3 hours aint worth it!

Jim's wood sculpting class was amazing! It is located off campus which is kind of hard to manage but I would highly recommend taking his classes. they are well worth it. He does not make an effort to reach out to students but if you show any interest at all he is very eager to help you make whatever you have in mind and he gives great life advice
