BMME 490 - Special Topics in Biomedical Engineering

A study in the special fields under the direction of the faculty. Offered as needed for presenting material not normally available in regular BMME courses. Class Notes: Prerequisites: BIOL 202, CHEM 102. Introduction to the use and creation of Biomolecules for Biomedical applications. The goals of the course are to 1) discuss varieties of biomolecules, 2) understand the strategies of how one can design and prepare biomolecules of their interest, and 3) illustrate how novel and original biomolecules can contribute to the creation of innovative biomedical technologies.
