Ru-Yu Lai

Professor Ru-Yu Lai had difficulty sometimes in explaining the problems in the lectures. Her notes are posted online so sometimes there is no point in attending class and the notes are usually straight out of the textbook. She is very nice though and she tries not to make the tests too difficult for the students.

First off, you will struggle to understand her. There is a noticable language barrier, and her handwriting is awful, but those can be worked through with a lot of effort. She also fails to give worksheets for the discussion sections after the first week, so it's all on you to make sure you learn the material. Unfortunately, you can't avoid her
