Caleb Hicks

Easily one of the best professors I've had. Relevant info from text is on the slides and he goes over it pretty thoroughly; lectures were engaging. Homework/quizzes are graded fast and feedback is fun and encouraging. He sometimes lets class discussions drag on, so settle in if you have talkative classmates. Super accommodating, fast responses.

Easy and engaging class, all quizzes/exams are open note + open book. Hicks is passionate about what he teaches and is very engaging in lecture. The one hang up is that he often gets sidetracked or goes on tangents in class, which leads to us falling behind on deadlines. He had to revise the schedule 4 times this semester. Otherwise, awesome.
