EDUC 2200 - Education Assessment of Students with Moderate D

Description
This course is designed to provide candidates with a framework for understanding the process of assessing students with moderate, high-incidence disabilities. Candidates focus on all aspects of the evaluation process from the point of pre-referral to identification and re-evaluation, with an emphasis on administering, scoring, interpreting, and reporting on formal and informal educational assessments. Emphasis is on the interpretation of assessment data for the purposes of making eligibility decisions and establishing individualized Education Program annual goals, objectives, instructional strategies, and placement decisions. Enrollment Requirements: Pre-req: EDUC.2100 Introduction to Moderate Disabilities.
