Proseminar in International Security and Conflict --- This course surveys the research literature on international security and conflict. Topics include, but are not limited to, the causes of war and international crises, security policies, long-term changes in the patterns of conflict, international dimensions of civil conflict including transnational terrorism, economic sanctions, and nuclear weapons and proliferation.
