Politics of International Economic Relations --- The course deals with the manner in which politics and economics interact in three areas of world politics; the relations between the industrialized nations of the West, the Cold War and detente, and North-South relations. Specialized topics such as the political determinants of the terms of trade, the transnational corporation and the politics of international monetary relations are integrated into the course.
