NUR 410 - Leadership and Management in Nursing

Description
This course provides the RN student with an overview of leadership and management theory and roles in healthcare organizations and nursing services. Issues in nursing that impact the roles of leader and/or manager will be addressed using case study, study practice experiences, and reflective exercises. Prerequisites: NUR 352 and NUR 355 (or concurrent enrollment) or permission of instructor. 3 credits. Class Notes: Meets Live from 1-3:45 PM on the following dates only: 2/11 and 3/31. Students may participate through web conferencing via Zoom. Enrollment Requirements: NUR 352 and NUR 355 or permission of instructor. Concurrent enrollment in NUR 355 is allowed.
