NUR 304 - Concepts of Professional Nursing Practice

Description
An exploration of the nursing profession, historical foundations, holistic concepts and current issues regarding the scope and roles in professional baccalaureate nursing practice will be discussed. An emphasis is placed on the continued development of critical thinking, written, and oral communication skills for the baccalaureate nurse. Prerequisites: ENG 210W or concurrent enrollment. Class Notes: Meets live from 9-11:45 AM on the following dates only: 1/28 and 3/3. Students may participate through web conferencing via Zoom. Enrollment Requirements: Admission to the RN to BSN program or eligibility for admission, or NUR 204 or NUR 205, or permission of instructor. Prerequisite or Concurrent enrollment: ENG 210W.
