Professor Stern is well intentioned but an awful professor. His answers are confusing and the homework online is easy but tests are INSANELY difficult with little time. Do NOT take the honors section or your GPA will suffer. He's a bit awkward so its hard to approach him. He's very kind, but not good at explaining and breaking down hard material.

He's the type to only hand out exam topics in class, and skip the online upload to spite students. I had to track down the essay topics from a classmate so I could prepare for the final in class essay. Lectures are discussion based, he expects the students to do a lot of the heavy lifting in class, I don't really feel I learned much.
