BIOL 200 - Medical Terminology

Description
Medical terminology deals with the identification of the meaning of various roots and terms and combining forms that are components of medical words, including anatomical, physiological and pathological therapeutic terminology, and implications of health literacy. Both clinical and scientific medical terminology will be covered in this course, to enable participants to understand the terms used in the clinical setting, as well as those that are used in relevant literature. This provided a basis of understanding for further education, as well as clinical and scientific relevance. This course may not count as an elective for the biology of human biology major.
