NMIX 6490 - New Media Directed Study

Students will work on research or production projects under the direction of a New Media Institute Affiliate Faculty member. Students will be required to make a presentation of their final work. When this course is taught as a split level, additional requirements for graduate students: Graduate students will be required to add a layer of evaluation to their production or research project. Graduate students will be required to assemble a three person team of experts (either academic or industry) to evaluate their project. Students will be required to submit their work to the evaluation team in the form of a report for a research project or a demonstration for a production project. Students will then make a technology-enabled presentation of their work to the evaluation team. Students will then solicit comments about their work and will incorporate these comments into their final project report. Non traditional format: Directed study.
