Lectures are on abstract theory of the class then homeworks are very time intensive and are on completely different material. Often dodges questions during office hours and is of no help. Exams are near impossible. One of the worst classes I have taken at UMN

He's an awesome professor, he knows what he teaches very well. Has a Belgian accent, I personally enjoyed it. HARD TESTS, but curves them if needed, 2018 spring Exam 1 avg was a 35 so he curved 21pts. 50% is the cut off for a C-/C, 65 is B-/B. GO TO CLASS, like no joke. I skip a lot and cram 4 days before for most classes w/google.. just trust me.
