NTRN 5641 - Public Policy in Nutrition

Description
This course is an introduction to the legislative and public process in the United States, in the state, and on a local level with special emphasis on nutrition policy. It will involve developing an understanding of how laws are made and defining public policy. There will be an emphasis on grass roots involvement and other influences on public policy.
