(L,N). A study of the basic principles and concepts of physics and nuclear science, chemistry, astronomy, meteorology, and geology. The course relates these basic sciences to man's physical world at an introductory level, and is intended primarily for the non-science major. Prerequisite: One year of high school algebra, or MATH 0013 or equivalent. Includes lab component.
