ENGL 2413 - Introduction to Literature

Description
Introduces students to the study of fiction, poetry, and drama with attention to the elements and conventions specific to each literary type. Serves as a basis for further study in literature survey courses. Prerequisites: ENGL 1113 and ENGL 1213 with a grade of C or better. ENGL 1213 may be taken concurrently with this class.

I have been at TCC for 4 years and have never had a professor be rude about assignments like he did. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH HIM. He grades papers like you need to be writing like you have a masters degree in Literature! Nothing is ever good enough and doesn't give good feedback. He doesn't grade assignments in a timely manner at all.

She had VERY high standards for all of the work and nit-picked the essays for grammer rather than content. I do not feel I learned much of anything from this class. She was unrealistic with her grading standards. The assignments (discussion board posts) were not relevant to what was on the tests.
