This capstone course provides students the opportunity to identify and investigate school and community-based problems and apply inquiry, writing, and research skills to a relevant issue or concern in early childhood. Students develop and implement a relevant education project, resulting in a written publication that will be submitted to a practitioner-based journal. The project will be the student’s capstone project. This project will also form the foundation of any student wishing to pursue a Master’s Thesis. Prerequisite: EDEC 5314 and completion of at least 50% of all required core coursework.
