Description

APPLIED PROBABILITY AND STATISTICS A calculus based introduction to probability and statistics. Emphasis will be on development of statistical thinking and working with data. Topics include probability theory, descriptive statistics, common distributions, and statistical inference. Prerequisite: MATH 2413 - Calculus I. Fall, Spring. MATH 3342 - Applied Probability and Statistics and MATH 3345 - Statistical Modeling and Data Analysis cannot both be counted toward the major.
