PHY 221 - General Physics Laboratory I

Description
Techniques of laboratory work: treatment of random errors, graphical representation of data. Experimental demonstration of principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, and waves (of vector forces, conservation of momentum and energy, thermal properties of gases). Class Notes: First register for one lab. Section M001 will auto-enroll; it is for grading purposes only and does not have a meeting day, time or room. First meeting of labs will be posted outside the classroom.**Please note that several seats in each lab section will be reserved for incoming freshmen students during the early registration period. See the note before section M001 for important registration information. Enrollment Requirements: Coreq: PHY 211 or 215.
