Description

First half of a two semester introduction to classical physics including mechanics and thermal physics. Uses calculus. Knowledge of plane trigonometry required. Class Notes: First register for one recitation, then the lecture section M001 will auto-enroll. **Please note that several seats in each recitation will be reserved for incoming freshmen students during the early registration period. See the note before section M001 for important registration information.Recitations begin the first week of classes. Enrollment Requirements: Coreq: (PHY 221 or AP Physics C (Mech) exam score min 3) and (MAT 285 or 295 or AP MAT Calc AB exam score min 3 or AP MAT Calc BC exam score min 4).
