GBEC 122 Essentials of Microeconomics 3 class hours, 3 credits. An analysis of the economic forces that influence the behavior of firms. Topics include basic demand and supply, price and demand elasticities, costs of production, and the behavior of enterprises under competitive and monopolistic conditions. Resource and labor markets as well as environmental constraints also are studied. Prerequisite: GBEC 121. [Fall and Spring] SUNY-GER: Social Sciences.
