CDFS 326 - Experiences for Young Children

Description
3 credit hours A study of the principles and techniques used to guide in planning of experiences for children basedon varying phil- osophies of child development including Montessori, Piaget and others. Students will plan and evaluate the various environments suggested by the content of the respective therist. Minimum of 10 hours of clinical experience in an infant/toddler program, family child care, preschool child development center, elementary school or special education program. The student will relate all previous theory course to the practical application in the classroom. Prerequisite: (CDFS 301)
