Introduction to the design of steel structures; behavior of tension, compression, bending and combined force members and their connections; theoretical, experimental, and practical bases for proportioning members and their connections. Study of the strength, behavior, and design of reinforced concrete members subjected to axial forces, shear forces and moment forces. Prerequisite: ENGR 220, ENGR 364
