ENGR 172 - CE Graphics & Methods

Description
An introduction to civil engineering including familiarization with the various internal disciplines, reading and creating engineering drawings, and using computational methods to solve engineering problems. Through a combination of lectures (both instructor lead and guest appearances), hands-on computer lab time, and design projects, students will cover the project design process, principles of projection and graphical representation, and computational tools such as Microsoft Excel and Mathworks Matlab and how they can be used to assist problem-solving.
