NURS 4552 - Holistic Nursing: Behavioral Health

Description
This five-credit course focuses on the care of individuals experiencing alterations in emotional/behavioral health from a holistic nursing perspective and is grounded in the university philosophy that nursing is a healing ministry focused on body, mind and spirit. A conceptual framework derived from nursing science, life, behavioral and social sciences, humanities, theology and philosophy provides a foundation for clinical reasoning in providing nursing care and supporting the healing process for individuals and their families experiencing a range of alterations in emotional/behavioral health along the wellness-illness continuum. Enrollment Requirements: NURS 4552 Requisites: Student Group NURS; Prerequistes: NURS 2342, 2542, 3651, 3354, 3552.
