ARH 336 - The Computer and the Arts

Description
An introduction to historical and theoretical issues in computational art. Following discussion of basic concepts in studying digital media, the course focuses on examining the history of computer technologies as they intersect with the arts and the theoretical, cultural and aesthetic ramifications of this intersection. Enrollment Requirements: Prerequisite: ARH 207. Requirement Designation: DEC H. Required grade: A through D.
