WRIT 3330 - The Craft Of Editing

Description
Students will receive extensive practice in revising for purpose, audience, form, arrangement, euphony, tone, and rhythm. The course explores a variety of editing techniques for achieving particular goals, including clarity, emphasis, and integrating source material effectively and ethically. Assigned readings will demonstrate a range of approaches to style and craft. Prerequisites: WRIT 2320 or JOUR 2310 (and for WRIT majors, at least one course from concentration area).
