WRIT 3329 - Technical Writing

Description
In this course, students conduct research and compose traditional and electronic-mediated writing in order to convey complex, technical information to different audiences. This course builds on the theories and practices pertaining to effective writing in the workplace introduced in WRIT 2313, Introduction to Professional Writing. These topics include audience and organizational needs, visual rhetoric and information design, ethics, technical style, usability testing, and team writing. (Prerequisite: WRIT 2313 Introduction to Professional Writing)
