SUR 202L - Surgical Specialties II Lab

Description
This course explores various specialties in the surgical environment including oral and maxillofacial, plastic and reconstructive, ophthalmic, cardiothoracic, peripheral vascular, and neurosurgery procedures. Information covered includes practice procedural steps, instrumentation, gathering of supplies, and patient positioning. Application of knowledge and skills occurs in the surgical technology laboratory. Students must register for the lecture co-requisite and successfully complete both components.
